Ben Kaczor is a Swiss-born DJ, producer, and label owner whose artistic journey began at the age of 14. Inspired by witnessing a DJ's transformative power at a Hip-Hop party, he taught himself the craft of DJing and scratching. His early experiences shaped his deep sensitivity to atmosphere and spatial perception, which later became vital tools in his artistic development. Transitioning from Hip-Hop to electronic music in 2010, Kaczor evolved a distinctive style, blending diverse genres into intricate sound collages.

 

Since entering the scene in 2016, Kaczor has become known for creating deeply emotive, dubby, and ethereal tracks. His music spans ambient and experimental textures, deep house, and dub techno, resulting in pensive soundscapes and textured downtempo grooves. His unique approach fuses the classic deep house formula with an evocative emotional depth, crafting immersive auditory experiences.

 

As the founder of the multidisciplinary imprint St. Odes, Kaczor has pushed boundaries by integrating production, performance, and visual art. His work has resonated across Europe and Asia, where he has performed, produced, and released music. Additionally, his role as night manager and booker at TAG., a renowned underground club in China, further solidified his expertise in music culture and organization. His platform, St. Odes, serves as a cornerstone of his creative expression, fostering collaboration and innovation.
