Sun Drine sets out on the quest to gently enchant listeners by bridging the warm and the organic with the unknown and the unexpected.
Inspired by artists such as Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac and Portishead, she eventually fell under the spell of electronic dance music and found her way into Djing. Being born in a sleepy town in the Swiss Alps, Sun Drine is now based in Bern. After various collaborations, among others with the German label Amselcom, she co-founded the female Dj-collective Töchter*.
Sun Drine’s never sleeping curiosity and love for details led her to develop a unique style, characterized by hypnotic and driving sounds. Her elaborated sets never fail to induce ecstatic movement to the dancefloor as well as to encourage the introspective exploration of places never visited before. Be sure to be guided by her sensitive way of mixing into a state of mind where your expectations are deconstructed but you never feel left alone. Over the last couple of years, Sun Drine, played most major venues in Switzerland as well as various international venues such as Kater Blau and Rummelsbucht in Berlin.
